Information We Collect

Site contact form: When you send us an inquiry through this site, we collect your name, email address, and any message or dates you provide.

Booking and guest verification: We collect the name, email, phone, and address you provide during booking, along with the outcome of Stripe’s identity check and the timestamp/IP recorded when you sign the rental agreement.

Property WiFi (StayFi): When you connect to the property’s WiFi during your stay, our WiFi provider, StayFi, collects your name, email, and/or phone number to grant network access.

Marketing sign-up (optional): Through StayFi’s WiFi login, or elsewhere on our site, you may opt in to receive property offers and local event notifications. Opting in is optional and limited to guests age 18 and older.

How We Use Your Information

Booking and verification information is used only to verify your booking, prepare your stay, and meet our rental agreement and local short-term rental requirements. It’s shared with Hospitable (our property management platform) and Stripe (identity verification) and never sold to third parties.

Marketing Communications

With your consent, we send occasional email and/or SMS messages about property offers, discounts, and local events near Creek Retreat. Message frequency varies (typically a few messages per month or fewer). Message and data rates may apply. You must be 18 or older to opt in. We only send these if you’ve opted in, we never spam, and this information is never shared with third parties. It’s used solely for our own marketing communications. You can unsubscribe or ask us to remove you at any time by replying “STOP” to any text, using the unsubscribe link in any email, or contacting us directly using the details below.

Identity Verification

Your ID photos go directly to Stripe and are never stored or seen by us. See Stripe’s privacy center for details on how they handle identity documents.

Other Third Parties

If you book through Airbnb or Vrbo rather than directly, those platforms have their own separate privacy policies governing the information you provide to them. Our WiFi provider, StayFi, has its own privacy policy governing WiFi login data.

Data Retention

We retain booking and verification records for as long as needed to meet our legal, tax, and local short-term rental obligations, then delete or anonymize them. Marketing contact information is retained until you unsubscribe or request removal.

Your Choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, request corrections, opt out of marketing at any time, or ask us to delete information we’re not required to retain for legal reasons. Contact us using the details below.

Children’s Privacy

This site, our booking process, and our marketing opt-in are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
