Kalahari Resorts · Map

America's largest indoor waterpark, right here in Round Rock. 223,000 square feet of slides, a lazy river, a wave pool, and an adults-only swim-up bar, open year-round regardless of weather. A seasonal outdoor waterpark adds even more in the summer months. Day passes are available even if you're not staying at the resort.

Rock'N River Water Park

Great for: an affordable, low-key day out, seasonal, Memorial Day through Labor Day (800 Harrell Pkwy, Round Rock, inside Old Settlers Park, 3.9 miles)
Rock'N River Water Park · Map

Tucked inside Old Settlers Park, this is Round Rock's own waterpark and the most budget-friendly of the three. A lazy river, a sprayground with dozens of play features, and the new Torrent River. Smaller and more relaxed than Kalahari or Typhoon Texas, good for a half-day rather than a full one.

Typhoon Texas

Great for: a bigger outdoor waterpark day, seasonal, a bit farther north in Pflugerville (18500 TX-130 Service Rd, Pflugerville, 6.6 miles, 10 min drive)

Austin's largest outdoor waterpark, worth the drive for a full day of slides, a giant wave pool, and a dedicated kids' area with its own splash zone. Open seasonally through the summer, with a Lazy-T River for winding down between the bigger rides.
